Dengue Virus with Antibodies (PDB entry 2r6p)

This structure contains the envelope protein of dengue virus (white) with antibody Fab fragments (blue) bound on the surface. This Jmol includes only the asymmetric unit of the structure, which includes three copies of the envelope protein and two antibody Fab molecules. Also, since the structure includes only the positions of one carbon atom in each amino acid, a thick backbone diagram is used to display the structure. Compare the two envelope proteins that are bound to the antibodies with the one that is not bound, and notice how the antibodies distort the structure of the protein.
