Excise the domains or molecules to be renumbered from the original PDB files. While the renumbering macros are able to handle multidomain and multichain structures, the proper gapping of vertical alignment is rather tedious. Any PDB records other than ATOM and HETATM will be deleted by the import macro, but this can be more efficiently done outside EXCEL. Place the prepared PDB coordinate files in a common directory, ready for import into an EXCEL workbook.
